Michelle Fine is a Zimbabwean visual artist whose creative journey has taken her from theatre and performance to painting, photography, collage and sculpture. Inspired by travel, culture and human connection, her work celebrates curiosity, creativity and the richness of everyday life.

Born in Zimbabwe, Michelle studied Theatre in South Africa before moving to London, where she worked as an actress. Alongside her performing career, she continued exploring a wide range of creative disciplines, eventually developing a multidisciplinary artistic practice spanning painting, photography, collage and sculpture.

Travel has become one of the defining influences on Michelle's work. Having travelled extensively throughout Africa and visited India numerous times, she draws inspiration from the people, cultures and landscapes she encounters. Her artistic journey has included international residencies and collaborative projects, continually expanding her practice through experimentation and discovery.

Michelle approaches every artwork intuitively, allowing textures, materials and instinct to guide the creative process. Whether working with paint, photography, handcrafted paper or sculpture, her work reflects memory, movement and a deep appreciation for human experience.

Her work has been exhibited internationally, including recent exhibitions at Kindred Studios, London (2026), as well as solo exhibitions in France, India and South Africa. She has also completed numerous commissioned works for private collectors.

As one of Early or Late's first collaborating artists, Michelle brings her original artwork to a limited collection of wearable art that celebrates craftsmanship, creativity and individuality.
